On February 6, Hit Man Gurung and Sheelasha Rajbhandari were also part of a panel discussion titled “Can Culture Counter?” moderated by Marianne Burki from Pro Helvetia, a Swiss foundation. There were other participants in the panel from Russia, India, Bangladesh and Hong Kong. The discussion focused on the role and value of contemporary art exhibition in a world where spaces for creative, independent expressions are shrinking.
